C43 wagon demo

If I am to make an offer, I would take the msrp x 85% (as the minimum 15% discount) = offering price + dealer admin fee + 0 bogus fees/charges = total + taxes.
Don't forget the vehicle is already 1 year old and the typical depreciation rate for 1st year car falls in the 20% range.

You should check in again next month or in December to see if the car is still unsold. If unsold, you should laugh at this SA's face.
besides, buying new, I would be looking at a min. 10% discount off anyway but do have to pay freight/pdi. At least the car is new and never been driven with full 4 yrs warranty.

Thanks for your input. I guess I need to be tougher when it comes to negotiations. The car is speced out to about 78K so ideally, I should be looking at about at least an 11k discount. It seems like a lot but i"m not in a rush. Perhaps I'll wait them out a little. The salesperson did say they weren't seeling very fast since it is a niche car.

Do note the car will simply keep on depreciating at the rate of around $800 a month easily.

If you want to put in an offer for this 5,000km used car and you have lost 9 months of factory warranty ...
$77,090 *85% = $65,500 +$495 dealer admin fee + $100 ac tax + $30 tire levy = $66,125 + taxes = $74,720 OTR. This is pretty well I would pay regardless of what dealer thinks and says back to you. If they don't like it, please move on and consider other car or even dealer altogether. MB Oakville used to be competitive in gaining customers businesses just a few years ago, I am not sure why they are like this anymore. It does show what they are asking is in the arrogant side and to me, that would definitely turn me off from even negotiating with them furthermore.
- Tell dealer you don't want their overpriced winter tires of $2500. That's a real joke
- Tell dealer you have no way in paying this tricor vin etching admin fee. OMVIC considers this as upsell in which dealer cannot force you to pay or buy. This is an infraction of dealer's selling practices and you can file an official complaint to OMVIC.

Thanks for all your help. I just got an email from my SA. He offered me 6K off. I texted him back saying that I don’t feel that’s a good enough discount. Will walk if needed. I ruaj for me to buy. Will let them set on the car for another few months.
Really appreciate all your advise. I think I’d be willing to maybe to 10K off with no winters.

Thanks. I will sit on it for a while.

Thanks for al your help. I am a new owner of a 2019 C43 amg wagon in brilliant blue!!

Yes. It's in the colour I like better and they offered a way bigger discount. It has 3K more on the odometer but for the amount I saved it was well worth it!!

I got just over $16k off. They want way too much for the car in Oakville. If you want it I would continue to hold off. They are not going to get that much for that car. Also the car is getting close to 1 year old. It was plated Feb 2019.
