Southern Ontario Programmer & installer info
Hello everyone, I just got a 2004 SL600, It is a US car with imperial readings. I have read here on the forum that the car can be reprogramed to ROW car for Canada.
Looking to have the car programmed for this to read metric (KM).
Is there someone in the GTA area that can do this ?
If so please let me know
Also is there anyone in the area that can replace the cars radio to something more modern ? perhaps a Seicane unit. I would appreciate the name of a local professional shop that can do this.

Not interested in changing the whole cluster. I have read a few times now that a Mechanic can change the setting from a US car to Canada with a DAS computer.
I just need to find someone that has this and can change the setting.
If anyone here knows of someone please let me know.

I have found some one that is able to change the region code for the car, ( US to Canada )
Now just need to find a audio shop that can change the command unit to a proper screen ( pioneer or some equivalent ) and install a back up camera.

If you want to be ale to legally plate a US car in Canada - which I am sure the OP has discovered by now as the original post is a year old - the cluster needs to be replaced among a number of other changes because the markings are in mph. It's not just a coding issue to turn the DRLs on.

Hey, if anyone needs any coding for DRL's or cluster modification, I got mine done at digiautocentre.com. There's a guy Chris there, he does wonders. He was able to get everything done for me for 1/10 of what the dealer quoted me. Worth checking it out
