Sarasota/Venice weather tends to be very good that time of the year as is Tampa. Warmer temps with some rain in the afternoon. I love the summers in Florida. I get great use of the pool and beaches.

Florida Trip
For anyone else looking to come to Florida I will be down after Christmas to escape this awful cold and 18 inches of snow from January 3rd to January 11th 2014. I am sure the weather will be wonderful as always so anyone will be in town let me know.

Gentlemen I was deeply moved today. I had received a PM from a member here offering to send me a couple Feral Pigs as they are simply unavailable anywhere. Great pics Jon! The Fuente Anejo is known as the "Christmas Cigar" up here because we can only get it during the holiday season and most suppliers north of NYC are limited to one box per store and 2 per customer

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas/ Happy Holiday and wishing everyone a very Happy New Year! Many blessings and good health to all and your family.
Now for cigars. We had a very special gift Christmas Morning. Turns out we are leaving tomorrow for a nice long cruise to the Carribbean Longer then what we originally expected to do along with a very short stay in Florida.
I had to pack and so I did

Finally got the chance to try the Feral Flying Pig thanks. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I had very good things about this cigar. Visually it is a little intimidating due its size and dark wrapper. The construction was excellent and the draw was perfect. The cigars starts out with the taste of rich, dark coffee and follows up with very nice nutty flavor. The cigar was excellent and I loved every draw to the point where it started to burn my fingers. The flavor builds but it never gets harsh and actually sweetens up as it burns. Great smoke that I would definitely put on my buy list if they were available. Thank you Jon.

Hope everyone had a wonderful new years! I spent mine down in the Bahamas We ended up talking a cruise for 8 days. Lots of islands and warm weather and of course great cigars! I figured why not since I am on vacation.

Quick question for those who fly into Vegas: are cigars allowed on carry-ons? Or do they have to be checked in? I'll be flying into Vegas for a buddy's birthday and looking to take some of my good smokes with me.

Cigars aren't an issue on carry-ons. The lighter and cutter are...just put them in your check in or if you have no check in...get cheapies and hide them in your carry on just in case they get confiscated.

I have not had an issue carrying cutters and cheap "bic" style lighters. Torch lighters need to be in a special case. Cigars have never been an issue.
