Hello ( No 56k )

Hey guys. Some of you might know me from the E55 side of the forums. Some of you may know me from the Pasadena GTG's that I've put up sometimes. Here are a couple pics that I took of my mom's CL500 with some HRE's. I had them on my car and was wanting to sell it. Yet no one wanted to buy them so I decided to just put them on my mom's car. I think it came out pretty well. Just need a major drop. Comments are more then welcome

I'll post more up later when I have good light...

I know I know, I need a drop. That is coming up depending if I can sneak the car out and get it done before my parents find out...

Nice pic! HHmmm that location seems vaguely familiar... Guess the pimp status just stays in the family huh? Can't believe your mom has a CL. Definitely pimp. So how much did you sell it to her? :p lol

I can't sell it to my mom mang!~! That just isn't right. I just gave it to her.

Strangely enough I saw her one day driving home on the street I live in my car and while I driving the CL out (because i didn't know where my car was) I saw her and was like that's a nice W211 and then I noticed it was mine. My mom looks really small in it...

I like the look of these wheels. Its hard to tell from the picture, but don't the rotors look a little small and lost in that big wheel? especially the rears? how does it look live?

Very true...I must admit that the rotors do look alot smaller. If only I could fix it up. My parents are VERY anti-modifying.

Yeah that sucks... this is one of the problems as you go with bigger wheels. Two things are more noticable. The size of the rotors, and the gap in the fenderwell. The wheel winds up looking good, but the brakes start looking wimpy and the car starts looking like its riding too high. 19's actually look better than 20 sometimes because of this.

Well... there is always that brembo upgrade!

There are so many things I would do to that car if I only could. My parents are really skeptical about aftermarket products, because they say why change anything that comes from factory. So it's kind of hard to change their minds, but only if I could.
