Eisenmann exhaust is here!!

Here are some pics of my Eisenmann quad oval tip sport exhaust. The build quality looks excellent. Its very light... Can't wait to fire up the N/A V12 with this thing and see how it sounds. The tips are angle cut. Should be very unique. Thank you Neal at Eurotek Motorsports for a great price.

The fist set they sent me had tips that were 4" too long. The second set had the right tips but the angle at the clamp was completely wrong and had to be cut and refabricated. The clamp on installation did not work and it was welded on. They are the sport version and the car sounds great, like a mean, bad *** v12!

I bought the decklid spoiler from Renntech.

4" too long? that's what this girl told me the other.... oh... sorry nevermind...

I hope to God they learned something from yours before they made mine! I am lucky to have a good custom shop that can weld stainless here next to my house... I have a feeling at the very least, that clamp mount is at a bad angle... I did notice that right away but we will see.

Garrett, Bob Brady told me they don't sell that decklid spoiler... did they change their mind? how much is it? Thanks!

I will post some when I get mine installed. But my car is N/A and garrett's is TT so the sound will probably be fairly different.

AMG2GO, do you think you can take pic of the whole exhaust like from the top?

I received and installed mine like few weeks ago. It looks nothing like the picture at eisenhaus.com. I mean it doesn't have the extra pipe that goes to the middle, and it engraves for CL55. I installed in my CL600 and everything had to be custom fitted.
Not what I was looking for actually. Sound wasn't as deep and loud compared to my friend's SL500.

Just out of curiosity that I might have the wrong one, can you please post full pic of the exhaust, and is there any different with the exhaust between the old CL600 and the new Bi-Turbo CL600?

Thanks a lot.

There is a difference between the exhaust from the Non BiTurbo CL600 and the Turboed one.

If it was engraved for the 55.... then you obviously got the wrong exhaust.

What was the price you paid if you don't mind. PM it to me so I can try to figure out what exhaust you paid. The 55 series exhausts are more than the 600 ones.

Thanks Ricky for the reply. I really need assistance at this moment.

I paid for the normal price of CL600 Bi-Turbo.
It's just the product I received may be wrong.

I checked eisenhaus.com for new CL55 version, and it looks nothing like that. Also, I ordered the oval non-amg, which is not available for the new CL55.

I should assume that I have received the exhaust for old CL55? Any pic for this exhaust?

I will post some more pics for you when I get a chance tonight... why did you get the 55 exhuast when you have a 600? You got the quad oval tips? Do you have the AMG body kit on your car? that will make the fit different. Eisenmann is not very clear about this at all... they really need better pictures... they offer quad tips for the CL6 but clearly something will need to give because the factory single opening is not big enough. I bought it knowing I would modify the bumper, but they need to make note of this and not just list it as available.

I am not sure what pipe in the middle you are talking about, I think you may be looking at the picture for the resonators? if you get those, the sound should get louder and more throaty... you can add that to yours for a full cat-back system. Did you get the sport or race?

Hey Ricky, is it at all possible to integrate the 03-up type CL deck lid onto my 01 S class?? Since they are so close (CL, & S) I really like the way it carries the flowing lines down the sides of the taillights..thanks in advance pm me if you've got a price on one...

Well eisenhaus.com retail price suggests there is a difference That's what I'm basing it on.

thericker55: No, it'll be really expensive. I know Lorinser makes one for your car though for under 600$.

Send me an e-mail so I can get you the direct price thericker55.

BTW guys, on the eisenhaus.com website, it won't show the exact picture of yoru exhaust.

AMG2GO, I ordered for CL600 oval tips, but what I received is engraved for CL55. Here's what I mean... I don't have the extra pipe as shown in the picture.

Mine did not have that extra section either. Also, my tips were long like the picture, which was 4" too long.

I'm almost certain you recieved the incorrect exhaust.

BTW: That picture is just to show an example of what the exhaust may look like. I'm sure the CL's have a different setup as that is where the gas tank isn't it?

I just spoke to eisenhaus rep, and he explained to me that the new CL55 and CL600 Bi-turbo are both the same and made with a shorter neck version. He told me that I have received the right exhaust. He also told me that since it's V12, it won't be as loud as the V8 engine.

What you guys think?

I guess he's right, because the turbo spools from the exhaust therfore muffling the exhaust.

But that raises the question, why does your exhaust say CL55 engraved on it, while AMG2Go's says CL600/500?
