Whats the BFD???

Trust me, I know what West Coast Customs does, I live not too far from there and often eat at the donut shop right around the corner. I just think that the vehicle was done in poor taste and takes so much away from the essence of the car. The tint looks cheap, the black hard top looks ridiculous on a silver CL, and the rims look really second rate. What is it about this car that has you guys so hooked? Surely it cant just be because it was hooked up at West Coast Customs.....

I think the car looks disgusting, infact any car with chrome rims like that is disgusting.

I'm glad to see we are in agreement Accord. Quick question,Do I really have 2076 more posts to go before I hit "Moderator" status or is that just a nifty name for "Board Monitor". I'm kinda curious....

y2k2ismine, I am a moderator here on MBWorld. I basically enforce the MBWorld.org Terms of Service and maintain the organized fashion of the forums. Becoming a moderator is not dependent on how many posts you have. The "moderator" under my name in the left column is just there to signify my forum status.

If you have anymore questions, I will be happy to answer them.

Thanks

Hey,

I've always wanted to convert a CL500 into a previous-generation Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Now I know where I could go.

I agree...chrome wheels are nasty. The first CL I ever saw was two years ago on 5th Avenue...it had very similar (nasty) chrome wheels and little propeller airfreshers on all four front vents. Now that's classy...

the only logical explanation i can fathom is that the guy must have a vault full of money and is just bored so he decided to mess around with one of his CL's.

Angry OMG!!!

PLEASE TELL ME THAT IS PHOTOSHOP!!!

That guy should be shot for doing something like that to his ride. What the hell was he thinking maan? I am so pissed off right now, just for seeing something like that.

Somebody should place a warrant out for that guy, and the first person to catch him should tie him up on the hood of that piece of ****, and drive him and that car off a cliff. Sorry to call it a piece of ****, but he RUINED the value of that car. That is not even a benz anymore.

That guy has some nerves, and some ***** do something like that to his car. Buttom line, he is a "Dimwit"; and I really don't care if you are trying something new. Do a photoshop project first then you think about do that crap to your car.

Damn! I am pissed. I am here wishing I could own a CL, and to see that guy doing that to his car. It's a damn shame.

This car just proves a old philosopy that money does not buy taste!!!!!

I don't know who is worse, the owner or those "custom" guys for being able to take his money for a job like that.

The least they should do is remove the badges as this car is no longer a Benz!!

That's Jesse James' CL, he owns West Coast Choppers, in California, he builds custom bikes for celebrities, his choppers can exceed over 100k. he built Shaq a bike, and i guess in retrun, Shaq made Jesse a CL. The rims are custom made by Jesse himself, he used the same machines etc as the ones he made his bike rims with. Not my style IMHO, but whatever.

Oh! That guy, “Jesse James”. He was on the Discovery Channel a month ago. they were reviewing his expertise in Custom Bike/ Chopper building, and I must admit, that guy; and along with his team are nice when it comes to custom bike building.

“But”, that does not make up for what he or Shaq did to that CL. But hey! To each his own, right!
