Buy an used cl600..
I have an S320 cdi and I would like also to buy an used cl600.
up to now with S320 I have done 250.000 km with no problems...
I would like to know if cl600 can do all this km or if it's delicate..
I would like to buy my friend's cl600 which has 140.000 km ()year 2001)..
how many km can this engine do?

4 pages.. which was the total price you had to pay?
I paid nothing. Car is under warranty. My point is that my car is not abused, raced and it's never even been in the rain. It's pampered and I still had what I consider to be a serious failure because (as it was explained to me) my turbo was not being cooled.
The MY00 is not turbocharged, so this specific issue may not be a problem for you. Again, a warranty is key.
which is the difference? (only engine and 2 doors?)
If I could only afford a C-class, then I'd buy a Honda or Nissan. Better car, better value and better reliability. As much as my cars have been at the dealer for problems, I've had a chance to drive many C classes and each one has been crap. In other words, MB's have problems top to bottom. So just be prepared.
How much is this CL that you're considering?
