Any chang 00-02 to 03-04 style headlights
Has anyone tried to change the headlights on the 00-02 to 03-04 style headlights. I had a shop install it but found out that 00-02 style has one wire harness input, but 03-04 style has two wire harness inputs. Also the input to the fog light is different.
Do anyone know if there are adaptors out there?

I'm Trying to figure this out myself.... Just bought a 2001 and a pair of new facelifted Headlights is on its way here... Any info would be highly appreciated.

my a$$hole SA in atlanta classic cars wanted >$800 for the installation
found a local MB mechanic that would "try" to install it for $400. still too much in my book. so i got a set of 03 plus clear bi-xenons sitting in my garage for the past 6mo collecting dust. someone in CA used to sell the adapter for about $200 but the shop closed. no easy way around it.

How are you going to install without the adaptors?
I call the local MB dealer here and there is no MB part that goes from one output on the (00-01) to two outputs (03-05). Also the fog plug is different as well. So if you guys have a solution please let me know.

they have to custom make one. i heard it's not that hard for someone who knows a little about electronics. well, i know nothing about electonics. it shouldn't be too expansive for the guys in california to get it custom installed(since there are many shops that do custom works). if you make a couple extra sets, i bet you can make some money selling it here. It can't be more than $20 for the parts. I will pay $100 for it. so if you sell 4 sets, yours is free.

Two version of headlights
here in singapore I found that there is a facelifted 03 type headlights thatyou can easily plug and play , but the dealer said its just a xenon headlights not Bi xenon. I have seen it in person , compare them both and found no differences between those 2 . so confused right now .....

Here is a pic of the 02 back see there is only one input for the harness and output for the fog.
03 has two input and the fog out put is different. I guess the process is xenon to bi-xenon
