Thanks for the reply. The car is simply amazing. The number of people that come up to take a look is truly phenomenal. I owned a 2003 E55 and it turned heads but nothing like this car does. A number of people on this forum think the body is outdated. I on the other hand think that this style is timeless and will always be in demand, especially the 600tt. My bias opinion is obvious.

You and I have the same car/year/color. You should do the Renntech ECU/TCU upgrade, it will be the best $5000 you ever spent. A night and day difference in power and shifting. My car with the upgrade is a total beast that will eat almost anything in its path.
Some dealers dont void Renntech modified mercedes but some are sensitive towards any mods. However, many board members with 600/65 engines have Renntech ECU/TCU and none to my knowledge had any engine or tranny problems.

No problems here. There's a MB dealer on LI, NY that does Renntech upgrades and doesn't void the warranty. You need to make sure you take the car to a dealer that won't bother you. MB of Massapequa actually sells Renntech cars.

i would ask that question lightly to someone that doesnt know u at the dealership, and i personally would advise NOT letting the dealership know about your mods, they cant "see" and ecu change on the SDS so why tell them?
Wow, I never knew that. My gf lives in Massapequa Park, so I'm definitely gonna check that place out. I'll make sure to speak with them when I'm looking for my next car.
If you suggest that I don't tell my local MB dealership, how then do suggest that I do the install. I am not real handy myself regarding car repair let alone installing high performance upgrades. Should I find a local performance shop here in town?
No, the dealership will most likely not "see" the upgrades. A good Mercedes tech can tell via butt dyno but generally without proper equipment, the ECU/TCU upgrade is stealthy.
EuroElites will assists its out of state clients through the installation process. On Renntech website, there is an ECU/TCU removal process explained in detail. If you need further help, you can contact EuroElites anytime.
if youre doing an ecu and tcu upgrade its quite easy to do yourself u do not have to be a mechanic, and specifically tcu and ecu upgrades the dealer will have no clue it was done. Adam who posted above me is a good resource when it comes to benz bi-turbo modifications.

awesome ride sir
