Cluster Recall
I have a 2000 CL500.
I received a recall letter for the cluster a couple years ago.
Seem to remember that after looking up the serial number range
on the recall my serial number was NOT in the range.
So yes. MBZ did send out recall letters,
At least to us CL guys in the database.
I think I remember putting a copy of it in my car folder at work.
If anyone needs a copy.

Not sure how old this post is...but..
Mercedes has increased the warranty to cover the instrument cluster for 10 yrs if your model yr was not included in the recall. You should have got a letter in the mail from MB stating this.
