Ok guys, what year CL with the AMG package do most of you have? It appears the bumpers were changed, and i want to make sure we make the one with the majority of what you have.

2003 Cl 500 Sport
I have a 2003 CL500 Sport. Maybe you should put out a feeler in the AMG section and see what kind of response you get. I think the majority out there are Sports or AMG's. After reading the threads it would appear as though the Sport and AMG folks modify their cars a little bit more. Not a knock, just and observation. I would love it if I could benefit from this but I understand that it needs to be a financially sound decision on your part to produce the most polpular mold.

Ok guys, it seems that the 01-02 are totally different and the 03-04 are definitely the same. I am pretty sure the 06 is the same too. But i will confirm this. But it seems most have the 03-04 anyway.

Hahaha! I am not sure about a group buy yet. But it is possible. We will first start production of the lip then when they are close to being completed we will consider it.

Jay9722 - good job in getting this started. I 've been looking for the lip for 3 years now. Can't wait.

Hope you can find a way where it will fit both 00-02 and 03-06 AMG model. Although the are slightly different, but they are very very similar. Maybe make it fit the 00-02 (since the center gap is shorter) and when installed on an 03-06 the gap between the center will be slight more open and not as tight as the 00-02. I know this might be confusing for some people, hope you understand what I mean without an illustration. Just my 2 cents. I'll pick up one too if they fit an 02. Otherwise, hopefully I can make it fit if you can only make it for 03 and up.

There is no way we can make this lip fit 2 different bumpers. Even though they are very similar, it is molded around the countours of the bumper with no gaps. Although the 00-02 is a different bumper, i am not sure how close until we test fit it on that car, which i am not sure if we will ever even do. I would be willing to send you a lip and if you hold it up to the car and its close if you want it you can keep it, and if not, send it back to us.

Do you make a carbon fiber trim piece that fits the rear bumper over the exhuast on a CL 55? I just put an Eisenmann exhaust on my car and I purchased the stock black plastic trim piece that comes on the 55's and 65's and it just looks tacky. Could you make a carbon fiber piece? I would be willing to ship you my piece to use as a mold. It is the $90 piece that tapes onto the lower part of the rear bumper that goes above the exhaust cutouts.
