What do you do for a living?
so what do you do for a living and how is the quality of life for you ie. do u work insane hours or do u work a reasonable 40 hour week with some overtime every now and then
i've been looking at investment banking (average starting salaries > 100k a year) but the 100 hour work weeks i keep reading about are kinda scaring me off, now it seems like any other profession that takes less than 8 years of schooling outside of high school dont make near as much
thanks in advance for any and all helpful responses
Lot's of folks try to find the easy path - short hours, easy life, big $ - but as the previous poster less than eloquently laid out, most of these paths lead to jail not a life of luxury.
As for me personally, I'm in my mid-30's, make in the mid-6 figures and work about 50 hours a week at a job I really enjoy, but then again I did bust my butt for 80-100 hours a week for 3 years in a Consulting gig right out of undergrad before getting my MBA. As I said, there's no easy path, so make sure you like the one you're on.

not "we", I just sell stuff online, 2-3 hrs a day, make dough, buy benzes, be happy.
i dont think any of u would be interested,
The interest in knowing is there, and the question is being answered like politician admitting to marijuana use.
Sounds to me like you have no business at all
even so, a few leads dont make that much money
For instance, I personally know an importer/exporter with a furniture factory in China. Even though we exchange information about our businesses when talking, we have not make that much money buying/selling furniture to each other.
However, speaking to this person has landed me in the hands of one of his associates. Result: I now have a new supplier/manufacturer for some of my goods, and am saving money.
Bottom line, when someone asks what you do, and you tell them you have an online venture, do not give them the cold shoulder when they ask for little details like your web site address.
Remember, people who do not bull***** have nothing to hide.

I am also a student at UCI. I know a lot of people from UCLA and USC... even people from these decent schools, they can't find jobs. Not that they are not smart enough, but the industry and society both are putting a hard time these days.
Even though I do not know what you do for a living, personally, I am very proud of you... age of 18 makes 6 digits of $$??? That's amazing! You are already top 1% of American citizens, which everyone wants to be.
Come on... tell us in detail what you do for a living... I wanna have a business with you....
keke~
i'll post a pic of my s-class, tinted, with kit, 20 inch spinning rims, spoiler, headlight rims... daddy will let me do that to his car?
it wouldnt have to be daddys, but daddy can buy you your own car, i hooked up my first car with a bunch of stuff my father hated, but he definitely paid for the car.
look you dont have to prove anything to me, i honestly dont care whether or not you are telling the truth, if you are, then good for you, youre doing quite well for yourself.
however (and im not at all accusing here) telling a lie to save your *** in a tight spot is a lot different then telling a lie to a bunch of strangers for no reason other than to sound cool. only you and people that really know you will know the truth, which is all that matters. i dont have an opinion one way or the other about whether or not you actually make half a million dollars a year selling **** online (which is pretty hard to believe by the way) and it really doesnt matter what i think anyway, what do i know right?
