Finally lowered my car!!!!
Hey all,
I've had my car for almost 2 years. It's a 2002. I've been shopping around and searching for a reputable place to have my car lowered. So I finally took my car over to Albert/Mike at TWS (The Wheel Supply) in Walnut, CA. The great thing about it is, its 20-30 mins from my work-not too far from my house either. The guys there are fantastic. Fast, efficient, and friendly. I only waited for 30-45 mins.
I met a couple of guys there that were getting their car done as well and they were also repeat customers. One of them was a clublexus member. I am in no way associated with them but I would love to praise them for their awesome work. I am definitely going back there for future modifications and maintenance.
if you guys should have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Thanks Mike,
I think they used the adjustable rods. One of the other members on here had it done there too the same way. I can't remember who it was. He has a silver CL500. He was able to snap pics of the entire work.
I wasnt able to because I wasnt allowed in the the garage due to liability.

Nice work! The lowered body goes well very with your rims.
I come from ClubLexus so I am familiar with the location of the shop you mentioned.
The member you're referring to would be "onelightmind", a brilliant guy when it comes to modifying the CL with efficiency.

1. Tint your car asap.
2. Clear corners off ebay with stealth bulbs.
3. Change over fog lamps and high beams to more attractive bulb.
4. K&N filter or other
5. Sprint Booster if you want greatly improved throttle response instead of that lazy throttle/lag/hesitation... makes the car more fun to drive
6. Throw a sub in it.
If I were you, I would stay away from the exhausts. They are expensive and underimpressive to me. FIRST have a muffler shop remove the pre-silencer (???) or the smaller mufflers before the actual ones in the rear of the car. Put it on a lift and you will see what I mean. That shouldn't cost you more than $100 at neighborhood shop. I may change my opinion on exhaust setups when I install my Lorinser exhaust on my new Cl600 TT with those pre-silencers (resonators) removed. But it was unimpressive on the old 600 for $1200.00, which was a great deal for the exhaust. It did provide a nicer tone, but the first time my engine was fired up and reved I was not impressed. In fact I felt a bit let down. I hope for better results on the TT.
!!Thanks for the compliments!!

AMGTESTDRIVERNJ- onelightmind is the go-to guy for that. he did a very thorough write up on lowering links.
ONELIGHTMIND-thanks for your input. as for LIGHTING, i want a bluish-purplish tint, can i just get bulbs with 8000-9000k temps? or do i have to do some other modifications?
also should i do 25% all around? whats the best way to go? especially for a desert silver.

I did 25% door windows with a strip across front windshield 35% rear glass... looked perfect.
Thanks for the props on the links. I appreciate it man.
Forgot the ones I got, but on ebay there is a kelvin scale for temp/color and the higher you go the whiter it gets..... just change the bulbs and you will be good. The ebay bulbs are inexpensive so I suggest getting two sets because one bulb will burn out surly sometime and you will have perfect replacements for an extra $10 or so
The parking lights are a bit harder to find and are like $40 for two little bulbs, but they are worth the look... anyway check your manuel for bulb #'s
