The Mercedes OEM voice-control & phone system plus their bluetooth v60 puck may work with a 2000 CL500, but I doubt that it would be worth the $2K+. First try one of the <$100 bluetooth speaker phones for cars with your own mobile phone's voice control menu system and see how it goes. I've tried many of them and liked:

  (They have a newer Supertooth 3 model available now)

Another option is the Argos module. It retails for about $750 and is pretty much plug-and-play. If you already have a phone system, you may be able to upgrade your cradle to a V60 type and then purchase the V60 Bluetooth puck from MB.

Hey Wease,
You can get it done without the full cradle upgrade. They are selling the "Puck" and the cable-adapter for >$500 on Ebay. It now works with the iPhone..

If you have the phone cradle- I will sell you my Bluetooth Adapter for $200.
It will allow you to use your cell phone with the integrated phone controls of the car also- but keep the phone in your pocket!

No AMG the razr cradle only works with 05+ vehicles. The normal bluetooth will work with it, but without the charging/linear compensator antenna booster.

You can get an oem setup which is not too expensive now since a lot of the prices have gone down you could also source the BT Cradle from ebay.

The bluetooth with the tail does not work on this vehicle FYI. I can get you prices tomorrow.


I need a bluetooth cradle I will buy that one for about $100 but it's way out of date so not worth more to me.
