Shocks, Struts, and squeaking

For the past week or so, my CL has been making some funny sounds. When I steer at low speeds, there seems to be a squeaking noise coming. It doesn't affect the driving characteristics but is annoying nonetheless. Also, whenever I go over anything bumpy, there is some squeaking from the undercarriage. It sounds like shocks or struts, maybe? I'm not sure but anyone else has had the same issue, your input is appreciated.

I've been reading up on it, and it seems like the front ball joints are the culprits!

Yes!
Do you have an idea or estimate as to how much it will cost? I'm guessing it's normal wear and tear since my car now has 97k miles on it. Hopefully someone will shed light on this.

Ok, I took in my car yesterday, And it was indeed the lower ball joint that had failed. Mechanic told me it would be about $500 to fix.

I got the car back yesterday, and its now running totally silent again. Going back to pay today, so I'll let you know later today what the total damage came to.
