Smile European Trunklid Pics?

I am assuming the rear end on a w215 may look a bit different over there..?

Curiously,
Tom

Ahh if only I knew the German for TRUNK then I'd be all set. haha

Yeah I could have probably searched the forum here but whatever... it was 5 am & I was feeling social.

Anyway, something POTENTIALLY original: I would also like to see a pic of a w215 that's had all its impact strip-bumperette things (front, side, rear) shaved off.

Later,
Tom

P.S. I still want to see a picture of a european trunklid! :-) Seriously... I can't believe Mercedes could have originally designed the license plate frame area on the w215 with the US in mind.

I believe there is no difference in the actual trunk. The insert where the license plate goes is just wider to accommodate a European style plate.

Yeah that's what I figure too.

I've been google image searching and tried searching mbworld for w215 euro and w215 european but came up with nada so far.

It'd be nice to see what my car was actually meant to look like. lol

Later,
Tom

Thank you
