Does anyone make a starless grill for W215?
Correct sir, door edging might look ok from 50 feet away...but I don't think that it would have the look any of us are going for any closer than that. I still think that using another aftermarket grille (like a wide billet grille for a pickup) as material would work; but anything will require custom work. That's ok with me, though, as I would prefer a high quality unique look. As I said earlier I have quite a bit of quality metal on hand and a mill...my route will/would be specific to the application.
I think we're agreed quality is the watchword here. My plan, pace the example of the Rocket, is to try a satin charcoal finish first. Then I can either go body and/or bling strips, dependening on how that looks.
I asked them to save the standard grille for me after some remedial cosmetic work. Still haven't figured out what to do with it. Nothing as ghastly as this, that's for sure!
Shudder!

Looks as bling as those wheels.

Why did the rear view look different?

The lowering looks nice. Too often CLs are lowered too much but that looks just right. Care to share your technique?

Five minutes to fit. First impressions are that FormulaZR is right, it needs those chrome strips. Although the Q-Car look is growing on me...

It looks very good...I'm on the fence about the chrome strips, I think it might look "classier" with them, but it looks sinister and sportier without.
