Are you in the States? If 'yes', you can call Lee at 888-981-3953 ext 623 to order. 4 sensors and 4 valves (required) cost around $400 shipped. You can reset them via the display, no dealer required.

$400 shipped is a good price - I think I paid about $130 a piece for my '04 CL.

My dealer wanted $333 a piece installed! My mechanic charged me only $5 each wheel!

First you reset the error (via "R" button). Then you go to setting (via the control buttons on your steering wheel), then to TPMS and change/enable it from No to Yes.

Also, fyi fatmike--you CAN get them on the low profile tires. I have 25 series tires and had them strap the sensor around the middle inside part of the rim. Works great.

Well we couldn't get the tire over the thing in the first place, yes it was in the middle and yes I even had an aftermarket adapter. If we had gotten the tire over it without breaking the stem...then it would've been sitting on the rubber (inside) which I don't think would go over well with potholes ..who knows, doesn't bother me much

Went back and checked the records - I actually paid $204.12 (parts only) through the dealership. Assuming MB parts but the invoice just says "sensor".

I had issues with mine so I programmed TMPS out of the instrument cluster with Star Diag.

You could just repair them...

I have a set of the 18" AMG wheels that came on my CL600. The tires have very few miles on them. PM if you are interested.

I would repair them too. I have bent two of my Brabus rims and there are plenty of shops the deal with bent rims, especially now that we have so many 3 ton sport utes driving around with low profile tires. should be between $100-$200 per.

How in the world do I program out my TPMS malfunction error message? I would love to know this quick fix until I buy replacement sensors. Thanks much.

Not sure if it's the same on 2002 CL500. Use the button on the left of the steering to move to TPMS screen. Press the "R" on the right side of your instrument. The screen will pop up a question if you want to re-activate your TPMS. Use the button on the right of the steering to change it from N to Y. If nothing else is wrong, it should show the correct reading in several minutes of driving. Good luck
