Argos bluetooth kit for sale - CL & SL compatible

Trading my 2003 SL 500 for another vehicle with bluetooth already installed. Dealer will not give me additional credit/value for this option on my car so I pulled it out this morning. New it is $700. I am asking $500. I used if for 8 months and it was previously in my CL500. Fits all SLs, SLKs 1999 - 2004. CLs 2000 - 2003 and many others. See this link for compatibilty. http://www.cartronics.com/MBcompatibility.html Thanks in advance.

Bump -
still available. Will accept reasonable offer. Someone has got to want bluetooth in their ride. I certainly couldn't do without it as soon as this option was available for our cars. Thanks

I'm driving a 2003 CL600 - love it.
I'm considering a Parrot system for my 03 CL600. How does it compare to your system? The Parrot is $350 installed.

It is excellent and works as part of the command system. Full functionality & integration using the argos system. Do not know about the parrot system working with comand so cannot comment. Thanks

See this from the site:

The CarTronics Argos allows you to simply get into the car with the phone in your pocket or purse. The car then connects wirelessly to your phone when you start the car. Make no mistake, this is a fully integrated solution that operates exactly the same as an original factory phone system. Full integration means that all the original factory functions - such as using the COMAND navigation or other radio head unit and steering wheel controls to dial, accept/reject calls, browse the cell phone's directory, voice dialing1, etc - will work just as intended. The unit simply plugs into the network connection that is in your trunk (hidden by a carpet panel).
Argos

* support of any Bluetooth equipped mobile phone
* full duplex hands-free communication with digital echo cancelation
* phonebook upload, recent call lists, caller-id and voice dial supported1
* supports the use of steering wheel controls and keypad dial from your radio or COMAND unit
* fully compatible with voice control
* microphone muting ability - caller can no longer hear conversation within the car
* take the call privately
* excellent customer support
* full feature set support of the original phone solution

Argos for $699

Argos For Sale

I have an Argos Bluetooth Handsfree system with the D2B harness if anyone is interested. Purchased it 6 months ago for my CL500, but am selling the car now. Asking $550.00. I will be listing on ebay on 9-22-2010 if sold before hand.

Mercedes Benz D2B System Models Covered:
C Class Coupe = 2002, 2003, 2004
C Class Sedan = 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004

E Class Sedan = 2000, 2001, 2002
E Class Wagon = 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003

ML Class = 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 NOTE: If you are buying for a ML Class, and the car does not have a previous phone system installed (cradle in the armrest), you will need to buy the ML Completer Kit from a Mercedes Dealer, or just ask and I know a few places I can direct you too.

The Argos is a wireless solution that uses Bluetooth technology that is common in all of todays phones. If you have any phone, PDA, or smartphone with Bluetooth, this is the completely integrated solution for you. If your car was sold in the U.S., your car is already pre-wired for a phone system. This is just a plug-in installation that takes just a few minutes to perform. If your car was sold outside the U.S., your car may or may not be pre-wired (you can call your dealer and give them your VIN number to find out). If your car is not pre-wired, this kit will allow the Argos to be installed.
The Argos allows you to simply get into the car with the phone in your pocket or purse. The car then connects wirelessly to your phone when you start the car. Make no mistake, this is a fully integrated solution that operates exactly the same as an original factory phone system. Full integration means that all the original factory functions - such as using the factory navigation or other radio head unit and steering wheel controls to dial, accept/reject calls, browse the cell phone's directory, voice dialing if you have the Voice Activation feature, etc - will work just as Mercedes Benz intended. The unit simply plugs into the network connection that is in your trunk (hidden by a carpet panel).
Even if you are installing the Argos in a car that did not have a previous phone system installed, this comes with the D2B Fiber Optic Adapter Cable needed.
