I have Brabus 20' rims with Pilot Sport PS2. Front = 20x9.5 255/35R20 Rear = 20x9.5 285/30R20 I have seen 305s but the price is already ridiculous for mine and I sling water on my rear side a little already and occasionally I rub (not very often though)

Pretty sure I had 295s on before, no rubbing, stock AMG wheels. They were wider than the rim, though, and gave some "walk" when you went over expansion joints. I wouldn't go that wide again, as any increase in straight line traction was negated by the squirreliness.

255-40-18 and 285-35-18 will work but a bit too small. They were for SL R230.

Mine is lowered, Yes I have rubbed only 4 times for a split second in the past 3 years and I am a pretty aggressive driver. You just have to watch out for major dips in the road. I never rub from driveways, parking lots, rough roads, high speeds, etc. Even when it rarely rubs there are no marks in the tires at all.

I will have to call the California Brabus Office next week. They are the offsets that were part of the wheel package through them. I have spoke with them and the said that the offsets were a must and not to remove them.

I think that somewhat explains it. I have 10" wide on my rears. Yesterday I sand off the inner metal part where the rear bumper meets the fenders then rode 10 miles on the highway with the lowest setting and no rubbings ... yay!

You will have no issues with cruise control nor ABC. The tire sizes can be changed through your command unit. If you want professional advise on some tire sizes call Brabus's California Office and they will answer any questions you may have. I am running what they recommend. Now you will need offsets if you play with certain tire sizes. I got my rims and offsets from Brabus. Mercedes is familiar with them and do all adjustments, balancing and alignments with my tires with Brabus offsets. The only thing tricky is if you have a lowering module. Perfection of the alignment needs to be by someone with knowledge because the module fakes the cars height so the car needs to have the module turned off and the car lowered by MB's Star Program then aligned then the back to normal height. Then your module can be tured back on. If you do not do this the tires will be positioned to far forward and can rub when turning the wheels all the way. Again, this is no problem unless you lower the car.
