I would appreciate the knowledge of the users on this forum and general advice on what I should be looking for.

Hold out for one with the AMG sport package. They look so much better.

I can't tell the difference between the sport package and without it. Is there a site that details the differences with pics?

The sport package has the same body cladding as a CL55/65.

'16 S550 Coupe, '11 Lexus LS460, '02 CL500 (SOLD)
Be sure you know what you are getting into before buying such a car. These are very, very expensive to maintain. The seller says a warranty is available. I'd be curious as to see what it covers. I have an '02 CL500 and the only thing I could find with complete coverage including the ABC system was at a cost of $11,000 for 3 years. Insurance companies don't want to cover these cars. I see you are fairly new to this forum. Do a search here or on the other popular MB forum for CL600 problems. If I were you and wanted such a car, I would opt for a much newer one with a MB warranty. These are not Chevys.

Have a look:

Formerly W215 CL600
This is the exact car I have and yes sir, it has been extraordinarily expensive to maintain. I would have been up **** creek without a warranty. Remember to go from a V8 to a V12 there are about 4 times the parts on this already overly engineered car. Dont get me wrong, I love it but she is highhhhh maintenance

No keyless go. No AMG package.

It is pretty low miles, though.
