hey guys new here minor questions any help is greatly appreciated
Hey i jus picked up a 2000 cl500 so far from researching i discovered that I need a crank sensor a glove box latch and my abc red light is on the car is leaning to the passenger front the abc fluid is full but I dont know much could it be the strut or something else i didnt see any leaks under the car. thanks guys

Congratulations on your purchase... If your car suspension rises up to the selected height setting (Normal, 1st or 2nd) after you start the engine, and the red warning light disappears, I would consider this an acceptable problem, with which you might have to live -
I have had this problem for years, but the car has over 300.000 Kilometers (200.000 Miles) on the clock...
Glove box latch: Same problem here - I used velcro - no more glove box..

fixed it thanks to ur post I had bought one from autozone that one was bullcrap i was gonna give up an go to the dealer but when they said 164 i was like what da hell lets try pepboys went there got one for 54.99 10 min later i was up and running with no shut offs i must say when these cars are running fine they are the best this will do until I scrape up enough for my dream car the 03 cl55 oh how I love thee thanks for the great post mbworld now i jus need a front strut and Im good

ok heres my problem the previous owner said that he disconnected the abc suspension because he was gonna bag it the suspesion doesnt respond to anything none of the switches he said that mercedes disconnected it from the computer but I jus dont understand y its sitting really low to the front passenger I told him that it was ok if it was bad but he swears that the struts r good the fluid is topped off an I have no leaks and he said that he got it serviced but on the flip side of things my steering wheel wont go down it goes up and comes toward me but doesnt go down only when i hit the memory settings weird any help

If the ABC is programmed off in the computer, it won't re-inflate the strut, hence why it's sitting low. You will need to get a dealer or someone with STAR to reprogram it. I would have whoever you bought it from reprogram it. You are basically driving around with no suspension.

Steering wheel went down this morning but u guys r saying I need to take it to the dealer I'm scared because they always tryna get richer but I'm gonna try it

I wouldn't worry too much about the steering wheel unless it does it all the time. mine's only done it a handful of times & it always returns to normal next time I start/drive the car. Let me know what the dealer says about it if you do take it in though.

took the car to get scanned at a local shop that works on benzes an got these codes c1346 c1350 c1345 c1349 c1344 c1348 c1343 c1347 all said the same thing about a valve malfunction idk any input
