City Lights DIY?

I bought some LED city lights (the small one in the inner headlight). It seems like you practically have to remove the entire assembly to get to them.
Does anyone have any tidbits for removing the old bulb from the assembly? Just needle-nose pliers or something of the likes?

i just did mine on my 2003. I believe the 2000-2002 are twist. 2003 and up is just a straight pull back. it's just fitted in by friction. i ended up taking a small flathead screwdriver like the ones used to fix sunglasses or reading glasses wedged it in at the top then pushed upward. the light came loose and just pull it out.

I do the same thing. I use a small screwdriver to get it started, then it'll just pull out. It's also a lot easier if you remove the high beam bulb first.
When you put it back in, make sure it's lined up right before you push or it won't go in all the way.

Did you get the error free LEDs? LEDs draw a lot less current than filament bulbs, resulting in a bulb out warning. The car kills current to the bulb once the warning is received. The error free LEDs are designed to draw enough current to simulate a filament bulb and prevent the error.

I bought some Error free LED's they work great except the left one keeps burning LED's out. So i have the right side with an error free and the left with a regular LED and they work great NO error signs. But when i try to put both sides with regular LED's they just start blinking every 5 seconds. Anybody have any idea why?
