03 cl500 trunk help!

Hey guys I can't take this car anymore lol

It's driving me nuts, I have tried everything to get in the trunk and can't seem to make anything work, is there anyway to get in there through the back seats?

I have tried to use the blade key and no go at all, I should also mention that the doors don't lock any more with the keyless either..

Please help
Thanks

Ok I'll go try that now, but shouldn't the blade key open the trunk regardless?

Yes it should. There is something weird going on. Check your fuses to make sure nothing has popped. There are fuses under the rear seats.

Its actually right by where your feet go in the rear passanger area. You will see a carpeted rectangular patch.

Check the yellow (or orange, I can't remember) fuse that is in that little pop panel under the rear passenger seat. If that's burned out, when you replace it, the trunk will likely open. If you use the skeleton key, you may have to turn it to unlock and then basically pry the trunk open (i.e. still use some force to open it). Obviously be careful when doing this so you don't break or scratch anything.

Haha, yeah. I normally use needle nose pliers. Or if you go to Walmart or Autozone and buy a small fuse replacement pack, it will normally come with a new puller.

Check that first obviously. Its a $0.50 part or if it is the fuse and you don't want to deal with it, take it to a dealership, pay the $150 and have them replace it for you.

If all the fuses are okay, then you might have to take it in to service location being either a indie place or the stealership.

Push the button for the trunk to open and help lift it up. Your drive unit (the thingy that lifts the lid) might be failing and doesn't have enough juice to open it all the way.

The pump was out because of the fuse. I had this problem. The question is what else is having trouble now. Yes, hit the button and try lifting and you should be able to get it. There is both a hydraulic (lifts) and pneumatic (unlatches) pump, so there are a lot of possible issues.

Sitting in the drivers seat, turn on the car, lower your passenger side window from the drivers side switch but don't press the button all the way down to engage the auto down feature. Keeping the button pressed down, wait until the window completely rolls down. Hold the button down for 3 secs more. Then roll up the window by holding down the button but don't engage the auto roll up feature. Once the window rolls all the way up, hold down the button 3 sec longer. Now open the window but this time push the button all the way down engaging the auto roll down and then roll up the window with the auto roll up. You don't have to hold it down an additional 3 sec. You're just testing to make sure the window rolls up and down automatically. Then get out and open your passengers door. The window will roll down slightly and then upon closing the window will roll up. Hopefully this explains it. It applies to all of the windows in the car.

Oh ok, so even if it's the driver side, I still do the passenger side window?
Excuse my ignorance as this has never happened
