yup
Its known as Pewter Silver in North America and Cubanite silver almost everywhere else!
Interior is Pebble Beige with Burl walnut wood. Other options include wood/leather steering wheel, TV tuner, mobile phone, linguatronic, AMG kit, AMG 18" wheels, and CD-changer.
So far I've noticed that the standard music system with the new COMAND screens is way better than the previous standard sound system that my Mom's 2000 CL500 had, plus they have improved the insulation, hence less vibrations when playing loud. It even sounds better than my Bose equipped C-class when playing certain songs! One thing is for sure, this is one slick looking car with the new face-lift combined with the AMG wheels and body kit! Time to be extra nice to my mom.....

Thanks to all....
Thanks! My Father drives a 2000 S500 and I drive a 2002 C180. I'm located in a small beautiful country called Uganda which is located in East Africa though it is more like the center of Africa when you look at the map.

Those are old number plates!
This is what the new number plates look like. See attached pic below.
Yes, there are quite a number of poor citizens over here.:p
Uganda is a developing nation and one of the fastest developing ones on the continent! There's still lots to do but we are getting there.

Hi GMW!
I`ve just read an article about Idi Amin, who just dead and used to be the dictator of Uganda some years ago and one of the most merciless dictators of Africa! Due to the article he killed 400.000 people, he`s just thrown people to crocodiles if they had the opposite political view! Is it true? Do people still remember of him because they the aricle said he has been living in Saud-Arabia for many years now??

thanks for the congrats....
It takes a while to register a car over here and my Mom is really itching to drive it. I'll post some better pics when its registered and the usual sunshine is back in place of the current rain we're getting.
Stefi, Almost everyone remembers Idi Amin, most of the crazy stuff you hear like crocodiles etc is true but was carried out by other officers in his army. So the blame can be spread to some other people as well. However, for the last 15 or so years people have pretty much put him and his regime behind them. It was only his impending death that made some headlines over here but now its over.
Our current government is the best we've had so far will full freedom to do whatever we want. Therefore, our current rate of development is one of the highest in the world and even with the current world economic slump, our economy is still growing. Modern shopping malls, cinemas, supermarkets are popping up all over and we are about to become the first African country with a comprehensive fibre optical network all over the city and major residential areas. So broadband is just around the corner, probably within a year.
