I think I need to change mine (a little noisy IMO). Has anybody ever changed theirs? If so was it very difficult? I assume it just like most rear wheel drive, independent suspensioncars correct? This is another topic that I can't seem to find much info on.
Thanksin advance!
Thanksin advance! In my CL55 I changed the rear bearing it was noisy both sides. Common on these I find after a certain mileage. I got a shop to do mine back in the day. You will need a bearing press
What kind of noise did it make ? I'm getting a squeal but don't know if its the rear brakes or bearings

It’s like a constant whining noise that seems to be most noticeableup to about 45 mph. I plan on rotating the tires to see if the sound moves, Ijust haven't taken the time to do it yet.
The rear brake pads do form a lip at the outer (bottom and top) edge from use that causes noises like that. You may want to take a look there as well.
