Sl500 look alike...
looks just like the 03' SL500!!!!!! I read somewhere that 6 cabrio's were built fot the sultan of bruni.

Very emphatic no!!!

The CL is the most exclusive line in the Mercedes lineup. To do something like THAT is blatant irreverence!

AMG will present a Cabrioversion of the CL in co-operation with the Cabrio specialist Karmann. It is propelled on 2002 CL 55 AMG Coupé gefacelifteten starting from autumn to be based and of the 5.5 litres large V8 machine, which carries out 360 HP. This CL 55 AMG Cabrio will be supposed starting from October 2002 offered and it max. 100 pieces to be manufactured. The price is to be with mindesten 150,000 euro.


Wonder if we will see some in the US or not... Intersting to say the least.

Thats pretty cool but i like the way the CL is right now, they should just put a panoroma! that would be sweeet

If it came with hard-top, I would really have liked it, but I don't think a canvas-top fits a car like this...

Um, yeah...seems like it would fill almost exactly the same niche as the new SL. If it looks like a new SL, is priced like a new SL, and uses the same engines as a new SL, it must be...a CL convertible?

Seems to me the only appeal would be the novelty of this car.
