How to Adjust/Calibrate Height Sensors

I did some suspension work on my CL500 over the weekend (replaced bottom rear strut bushings). Now the rear is sitting 3" higher than before after I re-connected the 2 rear height sensor linkages. Looks like I'll need to take the car back to the dealer for them to re-calibrate the height sensors. Does anyone know if is there a way that the height sensors can be re-adjusted/re-calibrated without using the Star software? How many height sensors are there? Is it one at each wheel? Please advise. Thank you.

Even if you knew the answer to that question, you will still need to be off to the dealer!!---that assumes that you used authorized MB parts to FU what you did do---if you diden't you won't find a dealer worth his salt who will touch the car!!

Plutoe- Every time when the height sensor is disconnected, there's a very good chance that the car will stand unevenly so the sensor will need to be re-calibrated & it's no big deal!! Any dealers or indy shops with the SDS will be happy to re-calibrate the sensor for a fee which I have done a few times in the past. I was asking if there's another way to re-calibrate the sensor without using the software, that's all.

I've figured it out why the rear was 3" higher after the suspension work. It turned out I had both rear sensor's linkages installed 180 deg out. Car is now back to normal the way I like it.
