Any idea what hose I need to replace. This is on the front valve body.

Does it look like item 60 in this picture?

Item 60, which is the short hose that goes from the small temp sensor bock to the valve block, is A 220 997 26 82, or the more recent A 220 997 79 82.

(MB part numbers are sometimes written without the "A", or without the gaps)

Regards, Nick

Nick,

I appreciate your responses, I have a question about the valve body. Does the updated design offer any improvement to ride quality or is it just more reliable. I honestly am thinking of replacing all the lines that connect to this valve body, and the valve body. I have the dampener for front rear and return line. Looking to get the system tip top for next few years.

I wouldn't replace everything like that for the sake of it, certainly not the valve body. Remember the new valve body may simply be cheaper! I'm not aware of any particular benefits.

The solenoid O-rings in the valve block wear out over time, and they're definitely worth replacing.

Flexible hoses always fail eventually, so when you see a seepage like that, you're getting advance warning of a failure, so its time to replace.

Its good practice to replace the ABC oil and filter every three years or so.

I would personally recommend covering every flexible hose in the engine compartment with fire sleeve / heat sleeve / flexible aluminium hose. The hoses are a weak link, and protecting them from high temperatures improves their reliability.

Can I get the part Number for 70,100 on the diagram as well and the hose on the bottom left of the valve block. I will rebuild the valve block as well

Nick,
Thanks a million! I have a question about the hose from the bottom left of the valve block. I don't see it listed in the diagram... Any idea?
