So, I swapped the old ESP module with the new one
seriously, it was plug'n play
2205451832 to upgraded 2205453532 model 804
unfortunatly, it didn't fix the problem
but, I don't know if my old module was bad (without giving DAS fault, yes, that exists)
or that the new one has a FAAAAAAR better ESP management
with ESP on, my car is unrecognizable, so sick compared to before
at least I had a little reward today
so I'm going back to investigations
stay tuned
and if anyone has a W215 with these dam adaptive stoplights working,
PLEASE PM ME !
thx
the one on the right is the new one (I know, it looks older, but watch the dates)
giving it a last try with the very latest rear SAM module HW30/02 SW 10/03 next week
the seller agreed to exchange it for the version I initially ordered
tomorrow we will have a w220 s600 TT in the workshop with code 804. i will check the codes, maybe it has the K11.
what information do you need exactly?
what I would need is:
easyest thing would be to activate flashing stop lights
do that directly in developer mode,
REAR SAM> DEVELOPPER MODE> Diagnosis to plant specifications> control unit adaptations>
set Blinkedes Bremslicht V to 0 km/h
then activate flashing K11 option in
REAR SAM> Diagnosis to plant specifications> control unit adaptations> read coding> flashing stop lamp
if this works, the K11 option, then
Best thing would be to print to PDF all this:
CHASSIS> ESP> Control unit version
BODY> CGW> Control unit version
BODY> CGW> Control unit adaptations> read coding and change if necessary> all codes
BODY> CGW> development data> Control unit adaptations> variant coding> globale variantcodierung>
the car is getting a complete new ABC system with all parts. i was not able to check the modules because everything is disassembled into its components.
After looking closely again into this problem
If you activated the flashing stop lights in DAS Xentry
they should only work with EMERGENCY braking
so no wonder that we couldn't see it working stationary
I'll test this out tomorrow if I have time
but get a friend drive behind you (on good distance) then brake like hell and see if it works
BAS should trigger this
after that i upgraded my data card in VeDoc with the code K11
can you detail that in steps ?
I am saying this because updating datacard via Xentry is online only and you'll have to pay for it
also, by updating online with the MB server will delete all your custom programming and mostly always your tune
and a dealer with probably refuse
the upgrade in the data card is not necessary for the flash-function.
i just did it for the sake of completeness that my data card is up to date.
i complete the upgrade at my workplace because we have the clearance for that job. what you mean "by updating online with the MB server will delete all your custom programming" is a SCN coding and is not able at the C215s.
you just need to change the coding with DAS in the rear SAM from "deactivated" to "activated" and it works fine.

ok, then it's clear and no confusion for people reading this
- Just use Xentry and enable the option. Nothing else needed
