From what I hear the v8 kompressor has a more sporty and immediate feel , the twin turbo v12 takes off with less force but the speed just builds and pulls like a freight train . I would drive examples of both before deciding which you prefer

i I think I would have prefered the kompressor

In a smaller, lighter car, the V8 is fun. It's perfect for an E55.

A CL, is never gonna be a "sporty" feeling car, it's just too big and heavy. The V12 is the perfect match for this chassis, luxurious and relaxed, but a goddamn missile when you put your foot in it. I refer to it as a rocket powered lazy-boy. The car is so comfortable and relaxed, but gets wheelspin at 60mph and will go 60-120 faster than you can believe for a car this size with no noise or drama at all. After two years I still am amazed by the way the car runs.

Can't get that link to work, but hollywood is very close to me, I could take a look if needed.

The silver/grey one with the newer wheels right?

The address is just a small dealer place, there's a lot of them around there as there are several major auto auctions within a few miles of the area.

Yes, silver/ash (light grey) interior
it does not have the keyless go, and im not up to speed on all the different wheels yet
i looked at a local 06 but it was desert silver and the dealer wouldnt budge on the ask 25996 it was also a cl55 with 19" wheels with the bolts around the rim (2 piece)
i have seen with or without the 2piece style wheels, im guessing model year makes a difference, some are 18" and some are 19" correct?

im still learning, as i look
there is also another silver car in PA, its only 322 miles from me and has 80k miles but its 16k [has the keyless go option] but im not sure on the light grey interior, the charcoal looks really nice , dang its tough deciding lol

The gray is really light. I thought it would be ok until I saw one in person. All my cars have dark interior though, not a fan of light color interiors. Taste differs.

yes, I have a Landcruiser with tan leather, and my 330ci was tan interior, so im thinking the darker for a change, that ash was really light......

I couldn't make up my mind, so I have:

2003 S600TT 128k, black over beige, stock
2004 S600TT 162k, silver over black, Eurocharged

Now I've got them both running right (only took two years), I have to decide which one to sell, and I can't decide. I like both.

Nick

this is tougher than I thought it would be.....was looking/talking at a car in Utah, told the girl on the phone on Thursday I was going to check out a local car and call her back on Monday.
the local car was very nice, only 38K miles [car was like new] but desert silver, not my first choice, so I made an offer that was turned down.
came in to work on Monday to a late Friday call asking if I waqs still interested in the car in Utah so as soon as they opened I returned the girls call, but she was busy and I spoke to her mgr, who I explained I had questions regarding the interior as the pics show the front speaker grills missing as well as the first girl did indicate there was an issue with the glove box door.....I asked if I could have detailed pics of the interior emailed to me and she said she would have someone call me from where the car was located and they would take the pics that I wanted, however I never received a call...and now this morning I had a msg on the office phone indicating that the car was sent to auction so the search continues........

oh well, I will find me one eventually

Newbie needs some help - CL55 AMG

Hi Everyone, newbie to the forums. I've owned many MB in my life and currently own a 2003 CL%% AMG. One of my favorites so far. Does anyone have or know where to get installation instructions for the Driver's side rear hydraulic line that attaches to the rear strut on my 2003 CL55 AMG. Mine is leaking and I purchased a new line. Does the rear subframe have to be dropped to install line or can it be snaked through? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Big Al.

Can slide it through, but it may be easier to unbolt the subframe and lower it slightly.
