Coil pack
hi guys, i have a concern!! I own a 02 cl600 I needed a coil pack on the passenger side 4 cylinders were misfiring now mind u i i been driving for a couple years in need of one and i didn't replace it because i wasn't sure if i wanted to dump all that $$ back in there (was going to get rid of it) but i decided to fix it when i found this guy online who rebut them. I changed out the voltage transformer roughly 5 yrs ago and i found a guy online (V12icpack) who rebuilds coil packs so i ordered one my tech puts it in drives it and it had all the power for a lil while and then started to loose power and started to drive on only 6 cylinders(my tech said he didn't drive it long at all before it went into limp mode) so he drives it back to the shop puts it back on the computer and it comes up that now all the cylinders are misfiring on the passenger side
he had another cl600 there that had no problems with the coil packs so he took out the voltage transformer and put it in my car just to see if that was the problem and it wasn't.I called the guy back from v12icpack and told him what was going on he said he never had anyone had a problem with there coil so i so he told me to send it back to him which my tech did so now we're waiting on it to come he's located in California he also said if there was a vacuum leak that could send a crazy signal as far as the fuel and air idk. My question to you guys what else could be the problem in my case???? Btw the guy from v12icpack told me he test every coil pack after he rebuilds them by driving them at lest 20 miles. I would really appreciate your help and feedback thanks in advance!
