mercedes oil dipstick tool cl600

hi, i just ordered the oil dipstick tool and have done some research. the cl65 has the measurement on the dipstick quoted as 123m.m. cold and 130m.m. hot. i don't know if this is correct, or not. what i would really like to know is how many m.m. the dipstick should read on a 2004 cl600 when the engine oil is cold. any help is greatly appreciated.

Your 275.950 engine with filter(275 180 00 09) change takes 9 l of 229.3 5w40 oil.

You test the oil level with the on board multi function display see attached pdf read carefully and research and learn that display it will save you money.

Mercedes
I had a s600 and when I tried to insert a dipstick tool there was something in the tube blocking the dipstick from going all the way in

actually mine takes 9 1/2 quartz when cold and filter replaced. what i'm looking for are what the m.m. reading that should be on the dipstick tool. mostly interested in motor oil, but would be nice to know the m.m. reading on the tool for the tranny fluid as well.
thanks

There's a separate WIS document for that but the sensor is plenty accurate. Unless you are troubleshooting a bad sensor?

do you happen to know the measurement on the tool for cold engine oil and if possible tranny oil?

okay, got the tool and the measurement is 117 on the dipstick when the oil is full at cold temperature. funny thing is the oil dipstick tool will not go far enough through the transmission tube to get any reading. the tool is long enough and fits into the tube no problem, but i believe there is a bend on the bottom of the tranny tube that doesn't allow the tool to bend through it. i believe this is do to plastic pieces that are on the tool for i guess rigidity factors. i may try to ground off these plastic pieces to see if the tool will then work in the tranny. bottom line i also have a dipstick tool for the transmission and that works in both the tranny and oil tubes, but doesn't have measurements for the oil. this is just for your info since i brought up the subject. 2004 cl600 oil reading on dipstick tool is 117 with cold oil. i would assume all cl600's from 2000-2006 would be similar, but do your own research as this info. is only on my car.
