It's someone too cheap to buy a new $50 hose splicing in a piece to patch a leak

run from this car, the owner has neglected it and is using shade tree repair

That's exactly what I thought, but I know I'm no wrench turner so I thought I'd ask. I think I really got luck w/my last cl500. Not so much this time.

I hope you didn't buy this one?

the yellow markings on the fan shroud are how a junkyard marks their parts, so that piece is from a junkyard . Most likely this car has been overheated or in a wreck

Haha! I know that at least. I'd didn't buy it. I would for about 1500. Even then prob not. If I didn't live in NYC I would for sure. But I don't have space or time for project cars.

I have both a biturbo cl600 and cl500, I like them both
cl500 gets great mileage and feels more agile and lighter

I can't wait to find another CL. 500/55/600/65. Especially a 65!
