CL600 ECU Corrosion
This is a follow up to my rough running thread
car is a 2003 cl600
I looked at the ECU today and my findings are in pictures , corrosion on pins and inside ECU
can an it be saved or is it toast

In the cars history file one coil pack has been replaced
i have no no idea if it has a tune on it , anyway of finding out?
The corrosion I found on the ECU and on its plugs , ECU has been sent away for testing today , at least it can be eliminated if it’s ok
No misfire codes are being recorded in the ECU
Throttle pedal is not working with old pedal or new replacement
Idle surges on start up between 1100rpm to 1500rpm then settles on 1100rpm then misfire
very smelly exhaust of over fuleing
Would spark plugs give this fault but not trigger a code
car was running fine prior to this

ECU is on its way back to me , the company I used was unable to test the ECU and couldn’t say if it works or not.......
