left front speed sensor gone ...
I had Esp Abs warning coming on more and more
I replaced sensors and reluctor rings
I swapped ESP module with another extra I had
I tested the sensor plug above the wheel
I still have left front sensor giving 0 in Das Xentry
as warnings I have ESP ABS and tire pressure non functional warning
anyone has a Idea ? I am NOT good in electronics

its my left front wheel
the plug is ok, from the inside the engine, so back of the plug, you have a yellow and black tiny wire . you know where that goes ?
to the esp module, drivers fusebox ?
what you you do ?
Problem was the sensor position
I forgot that mounting this sensor is tricky
0.5mm to the left it doesn't work, 0.5mm to the right it doesn't work, shows 0KM/H on DAS
I took down the brake disc and caliper, hooked up DAS XENTRY
go in ESP, actual values
showing speeds of all 4 wheels
then ajust sensor, turn the axe with your hand to the left, and it shows 2.5 km/h if ok
done

all the general Diag softwares like Autocom that you can get as a clone from Chine for 60$ will show speed sensor speeds
before I had Xentry I used that in the first weeks
But again, if you love working on your Benz, You MUST HAVE Xentry Das, EPC & WIS

Glad you got it sorted, I find often when it doesn't get fixed after a new sensor, it's an issue where the wires have been chewed by a rodent. Seen that on 3 or 4 cars already.
