Replacing flat hood badge ?
the flat Mercedes badge on top of my hood was missing when I came to my car , don't know if someone pried it off or whether the mounting tabs broke off

unlike other Mercedes this one doesn't look like a simple press fit , there are two prongs which go through the hood and two little plastic retainers
but I don't see how to attach these retainers

anyone know how to install this hood badge ?

I remember that I had to unscrew the hood latch, and the rest was straight forward, but I'm not certain it was the press fit model, make sure you have the right part
