SRS warning light
I was pulling out of a tight driveway (1mph) my passenger front tire went over the curb (about 4" tall) as I heard the clunk my SRS light went on in the speedometer area of the instrument panel. When I hit the R button it goes away except for a small red SRS (left side) When I restart the car the big red SRS appears. What can be done, how could a bump cause the seat belt restraint system to malfunction? Thanks for any insight. John

Thanks for the info, is the airbag sensor something I can replace or do I need a mechanic shop. Oddly enough, I've had the car for two and a half years and the only repair is brakes done by a good shop but they don't specialize in MB

airbag sensors should be replaced by a shop because if you touch something wrong you can pop all 8 interior bags and your car will be a total loss . You need to disconnect the battery for at least an hour and must know exactly what to do

MBWorld Fanatic!
Have it diagnosed and see what failed, the light being on means there is a code for something that's damaged or not working. Might be simple, might be expensive. Have it scanned with a real SDS system.
