Looking at how little damage this CL has ,one would think it was made of a solid chunk of steel.(I don't think a Lexus would fare as well in a similar situation)

2003 CL55 AMG

The hood is aluminum. So it will be dented very well ... The front fenders are made out of a plastic. The plastic is very strong and can flex like a ****. Surprised they didn't break or crack though.

ofcourse its staged,, its a test,, they lifted the truck and gently layed the truck on the benx,, this is not a road accident,, if it was there would be damage everywhere,,

I know that design in 17" is an option for the s-class and e-class in the UK, but those look like 18"s to me.

those are 17's, i dont think MB made 18's in that style
