I get the following error code. "The resistance value in the ignition circuit containing component R1 2/1 (driver ETR ignition squib) is too high". I know this is for the drivers seat. Can anyone tell me where this squib is connected wire colors or location etc. Thanks

I'm sorry. I guess I should have added that one day I found a little fan under the driver's seat. the fan was part of the seat cooling system so I decided to reinstall it. I remover the drivers seat and located the wires that ran the fan and replaced the fan and the drivers seat. The fan worked great but the SRS light in the dash came on. I reset the SRS light and everything worked fins except a few days later the SRS light came back on. Even though I can reset it, it keeps coming on after random times. It seems to have something to do with the cable that connects the car to the seat. I was wondering if anyone new where R1 2/1 connects to this connector?

SRS

My SRS light have come on four times in one year. I doubt if my mechanic could find the problem because it is intermittent so I just leave it alone.

Almost every time someone mentions an SRS error on these cars it’s the connector under the passenger seat fwiw
