Can I put CL55 or CL65 ABC struts on my CL600?

I have a feeling the enormous power of the renntech tune is wreaking havoc on my rear end.

It's so powerful; like thor's mighty hammer commands the sky, the Renntech nuclear missile commands the road.

Unfortunately, I think it's destroying my ABC struts in the back; at least the bushings at the top. The car jumps and wobbles going around turns while slightly (like normal car slightly) accelerating. Also at highway speeds, there is a shake that comes from the rear end that I was able to fix on the S500 by replacing the ABC struts.

It has the full Renntech tune:
Engine, Intercooler, Transmission, and LSD.

Question remains: do the CL65 struts fit on the CL600?

Hey, I never searched but did we get a final word with proof on the difference between the AMG and Non-Amg ABC struts ? or is it just a relabel story again ..?

Probably a relabeled strut but there may he some slight internal valve difference. Knowing MB, there is no difference and the suspension difference is done through programming. Either way, should work fine.

The part numbers are different so give Arnott a call to make sure. Will it work, yes. Will it work like the other shocks? Not 100% certain.

MB’s of all kinds.
I would assume the 500, 600, 55 and 65 all the same strut. Not sure why MB would make a new one for each model.

The 500 and 600 are the same part number while the 55/65 are also the same. There must be a difference but I have no idea what it is. Could be firmer valving or internal springs. I've also read the 55/600 could be used interchangeably. With that said, I sent a visitor message to ArnottDoug in hopes he would respond.
