Car jumps when going around turns at low speed

Here’s the issue: my CL600 seems to hop/jump when going around corners at low speed. This might have to do with the LSD that was installed by Renntech, or it could be loose rubber near the rear end.
It’s so bad it activates and stresses the traction control system. I think this resulted in a vacuum leak, as the car will groan if this happens.

I just checked the tops of the ABC Struts. They were also replaced ~35k miles ago at the dealership. The rear right strut does appear to slightly move when loaded/unloaded. Pics attached.

I may want to perform the rubber ring fix described by Nick, however the movement is pretty slight. I also noticed the differential bushing does move a bit when lifted/lowered.

Sounds like your diff is locked up causing the tires to scrub. Or possibly your traction control is acting up and what your hearing is the ABS pump. You'd hear that corner bouncing over every bump if your strut was bad.

i’m quite sure it’s the ABS pump that’s making the groaning noise. Considering the low movement in the strut, and the fact that the streets are relatively new, I don’t think the struts are bad. If the death is locked up, how can I diagnose it and if necessary repair it?

Put it in the air and check if the wheels spin independently

And then what do I do if it’s locked?

Really depends on what type of LSD you have and why it locked up. If I had to guess, I'd say check your tread depth, tire pressures and sizes for discrepancies. Whichever wheel is "smaller" may just need to be unwound. How long ago was the diff installed?

Diff installed 30k miles ago. It’s a Renntech diff. When I purchased the car I (mistakenly and stupidly) put MB OEM fluid in. I just swapped it out for the correct Motul oil. I think it might have helped. My tires are slowly going bald, but not that it requires attention yet.

Looks like Renntech is using a beveled gear design, whatever fluid you use it needs to have a limited slip additive. If it really is locked up you're going to have to take apart the differential carrier and find out why.

I just took out the MB spec fluid, and put back in the Renntech spec fluid (Motul 75w-140). I’ll do some driving, and see what effect this might’ve had.

i’m really hoping to not have to take this differential apart.
