I don't know about adding an aux, someone else will...but, to fit a new head unit you will need first to find the fascelift wood panel. That means you will need the switches too...and that's not so straiught forward.

I’ve thought about doing the swap problem is the communication between abc and other buttons is not the same on the first w215. When they changed the command to the modern one. The language changed so u can turn a feature on but they won’t respond after that u would have to turn off the car off.
what I’m thinking about doing is getting one of those 10 inch android displays. That would cover the entire 2.5 din hole and modernize the dash. Only thing that sucks. Is those radios don’t do. HD radio. But u got android on board. And access to Pandora and other apps so HD radio is not needed.
