02 Mercedes CL500 Right Rear Axle Inner Boot Ripped

Hi there, I'm currently experiencing a low level rumbling, thumping noise in the rear & it's fairly noticeable when rolling at low speed & on rough road. This morning, I jacked the rear up for a look & found the right rear axle inner boot is ripped. Does anyone has or can point me to a tutorial on how to remove/replace the rear axle? Thanks in advance.

The p/n for the axle is 220-350-02-01 & I've found a few used ones on eBay. It's a bolted type axle with 6 bolts so it should be easy to replace but I've noticed the end that connected to the differential has a cover instead of a pinion shaft sticking out so how does it connects to the differential gears? Anybody know?

It turns out the way it connected to the differential gears is through the 6 bolts.
