Hello Everyone,
Been lurking here a long, long time and am hoping to be official by tomorrow at the latest (awaiting delivery to Houston from Florida). Originally I was looking for a fixer-upper, so I could learn to do most of my own troubleshooting and maintenance (with the help of the internet). I am not a skilled mechanic by any stretch of the imagination, but I did learn to change spark plugs, cap & rotor, AC compressor, fluids on an 89.5 Jaguar XJS V12.
But, I found this car and it seemed to require nothing immediately (famous last words LOL), so I snagged it. Will post pics once here.
First question: Am I understanding correctly that a standard Amazon code reader will not dispense detailed information like STAR, Xentry, and Autel units? It's possible my information is outdated.
Second: Only mod I'm planning immediately is Bluetooth. What's the best way to incorporate that - official MB bluetooth puck that fits in the center console? I don't need anything fancy - will just be audio & GPS.
