So, after deciding to take a detour from my W216 build and picking up a W215 project, I will start making small interior parts available to 3D print. What specifically? Well, all the small annoying things that can really drag the interior of these, now old cars, down. When looking at some of the W215s for sale, I noticed all of them had loose door control module trim...and the one I picked up was no exception. I also saw all sorts of fixes, from roofing nails, to glue. Really people...roofing nails on a Mercedes?
Download the lower mounting tabs for the door ECM trim here W215 Door Control Module Mounts – Absolute Car Mods if you need them. More small fixes will be made available as I work my way through restoring the interior of the car.

Youre a life saver!!! Keep it going lol
I was forced to buy a replacement set since the sliding locking tab on my passenger side was broken. It was held in sloppily with zip ties and prayers. The wood grain/color didnt match so now all my trim is with Ocarbon getting redone in CF.
i was about to epoxy them back in….
you rock!

I am in the middle of redoing the whole interior with alcantara (like material) and other stuff and honestly I don't see a way to take it out without disassembling the lower part of the door panel (screws and lock washers on the back). It's a stupid design and seems overly complicated. The clips are also about 1mm thick...which is ridiculous for something that's supposed to clip in place and hold a piece of metal down.

All files will be in mm. I suggest you get them printed in ABS for durability and temp resistance.
Mine are printed on a resin printer (much higher quality prints) with a mix of high temp and ABS-like resins. No issues so far with many other prints.
