Whats up brothers . So my 2001 Cl had Front driver side Quick disconnect failure. Went to the dealer ordered new line that is correct according to diagram. After receiving new line it's was manufactured backward rather completely upside down . Contacted my guy at the parts counter. He ordered a new line again . And the line has returned . Again completely wrong . I need to figure out how to remove the new valve. With out daming it.
As you can see I the picture I removed the damaged valve off of my line . . Only thing was my valve was seized qnd I need to get it real hot ti come out
This was a trick I learned whilst at the hydraulic shop.
The quick disconnect is screwed into the block ending of the hose. You can unscrew only the quick disconnect from the new line's end block and install it onto your old hose, given the fact that the remainants of the old quick disconnect are gone.
Make sure to use thread sealer whilst screwing the new quick disconnect into the old hose
Its holding perfect . The thread was ok .looks worst then it really is . And the thread doesn't really stop the fluid . The O- ring is there to Handel that
