seriously want an 03' CL500...
hello, i am a new member and i have been cruising this forum for about 10 days now. i am afraid of the common CL problems. what was completely quality controlled for the 03' models? ABC, suspension, shattering parking brake, still any squeaks, rattles, not as solid build quality problems??? thanks in advance and this will be my most expensive toy EVER.

too many to list
hey phat-ho...its good your researching before buying that car and MB world is a good place to get a lot of questions answered. its a safe bet if your going over the 03 and up models because they have worked out all the kinks that were there in the previous models.

thanks 4 all the input, i look forward to owning my 1st mb
i still remember the milestone -round headlights- redesign of the e-class...that made mb competitive again in the mid 90s. mb has come a long way from the gullwing to the SLR. and the recent beefing up of the hp and torque of the new models are grabbing the attn of many bimmer owners.
i'll always love all the obnoxiously large and head-spinning priced luxury cars. ahhh excess...

your s-class looks meaner/darker than what i have seen before. the designo edition gives darker trim and headlight housing or what? definitely looks different...

Hey Phat-ho
I had a 02 CL500 and I had no major problem at all. There was a little minor problems but it took less than a day to fix by dealer.
But I will suggest you look for a car still under warranty, (just in case :P)
Good luck
