guess what i just learned!
Us lucky guys in the states are'nt goint to be able to get the 07 cl600 with the sports package because they want to promote the cl63. If they realese the sports package for the 600 no one would buy the 63.

Thats a rip.

I guess ill have to get my own amg bumpers and such, and build my own 600 sports package.

Anyone here hear anything diffrient?

Basically the same deal as the S600 sedan. I don't think it is to promote the AMG variants because the 550 models have the AMG kit as an option. The 600s are supposed to be about luxury first and I guess they're trying to keep them somewhat different from the AMG and base 550 models.

That is stupid. I wouldn't buy it without a sports package even if it had 900 HP.

i agree 900hp still has to look good going down the road. These cars arent much to look at with out a sports package. Carlsson package is pretty good looking as well.

I think not buying a 900 HP luxury sedan merely on the grounds that it has no factory sport option would be considered stupid.

there is an S600 w/ AMG SPORT PKG...or maybe Glauser put the kit on themselves

You have summed up what took me paragraphs that could fill a novel ; it's all about exclusivity and indviduality in terms of style. I've been trying to tell everyone this in every forum, especially the new S-class forum, but those guys just don't get it. They care less and think anything other than the factory stock look is pointless and cheap.
