I've put on getting close to 13k miles so far, and I love it more every day. Please refer to my other posts about the car. It is just an absolutely wonderful car. It's too bad now I also really want that CL65 that's coming out in a couple months. But oh well, that gives me something to look forward to after driving this for a few years!!

It already looks dated to you? First off, I might put the sport package on it, but either way, it's still a bad a** car. It does not look dated at all, in fact I get compliments on it every day of every week from all different kinds of people.
Pics do not do the car justice at all. But I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Anybody that knows high-end cars knows this car is very very nice all around. You must not know about the new Mercedes models too much.

The new S-Class and CL really don't look the same in pictures. In person they are overwhelmingly beautiful. I personally would choose AMG Package on both, but that doesn't make them any less beautiful or "dated" without it.

Not that it looks dated but seeing one in person the first time with out sport package it looked alot like a hyundai toyota. No offense i hated the car at first but it has grown on me but the amg package gives it the look it should have had from the factory. You are right the interior is as good as it gets, along with the technology.

I agree that all CL's should come from the factory with the AMG sport package, but that does not take anything away from my car. It is still a beautiful car in every way, the sport package would just very much enhance the look further.
A CL 550 looked like a Hyundai/Toyota to you? Wow that's terrible. The first time I saw my car, which was at the very end of November 2006, I thought it was immediately gorgeous, and so did all the other would-be customers walking around the dealership that day. It got more attention hands down (and still does. when I picked it up a few days ago from getting an oil change, it was sitting out in front of the dealership, and people kept stopping by to gaze at it, and asking if the dealer had any in stock) than the other Benz's. I believe I might have gotten one of the very first new-body CL's in the whole country, and still to this day I love it more and more.

Like I said didn't like it at first I do now. I live in Ft.Lauderdale which like Miami has no shortage of rare or exotic cars. i see bentley gt's and f 430 on the regular, ironically cl's are more rare than those cars. Anyways not taking anything from your car it is nice. Lots of compliments I can beleive that and enjoy.

I saw also only 1 new-body CL in Miami
I recently also got back from South Beach, I was there in late March, and I saw tons of Ferrari's, Lambo's (seemed like there was a ton of Gallardo's!!), Bentley's, etc.. But only one new body CL, it was parallel parked on Ocean Drive right close to Versace's former Mansion, and it was white on tan with the sport package and he put the 20" wheels from the S65 on it. Very nice, I prefer darker colors, but still very nice. It was the rarest car there that week.
After seeing how many drop-dead gorgeous voluptuous women there are in Miami, I agree that you should have atleast a Gallardo or F430 to stay competitive down there. And ofcourse have lots of hook-ups/connections, money, and a diesel body, with gino money outfits. I loved it, now I wanna maybe one day get a vacation condo down there. The only other place I've ever seen so many beautiful women condensed in one place in my whole life is Las Vegas.

I'm moving soon to Az, but have plans to have a condo down here just to visit periodically throughout the year. My friend has a condo in the Mirador down in South beach he lives in NY and comes dowm here and there just to party. I realize that situation maximizes the south beach ft.lauderdale lifestyle. Next time you gotta go to Mansion, also if you wanna see some hot cars check out Opium and Pearl at Niki beach.
